Frequently asked questions
How do I add page numbers to a PDF?
Drop your PDF above, pick a position (bottom center, left, or right) and a style (plain numbers or “Page 1 of N”), and click Add page numbers. The numbered PDF downloads immediately.
Can numbering start at something other than 1?
Yes — set “Start counting at” under Options. Handy when the document is part of a larger set or has an unnumbered cover page.
Will the numbers overlap my content?
Numbers sit in the bottom margin. If your pages have unusually tight margins the number can sit close to content — most documents have comfortable room.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Numbering runs entirely in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
