Sleek PDF is built and maintained by Downbeat Interactive. One address reaches us for everything: hello@sleek-pdf.com.

We read everything that arrives and usually answer within two or three working days. There's no ticket system, no chatbot, and no account needed.

Reporting a bug

Broken output is what we most want to hear about, and the hardest thing to fix from a one-line description. The report that gets fixed fastest tells us:

Please don't email us the document. The whole design of this site is that your files stay on your machine, and that principle doesn't get an exception for debugging. Almost every bug we have fixed was reproduced from a description plus a file we generated ourselves. If a document really can't be described without being seen, tell us and we'll suggest a way to strip it down to a shareable test case.

Requesting a tool or a feature

Much of what is on the site now started as somebody's email. Requests that describe the underlying job ("I need to get a hundred scanned invoices under a portal's 2MB limit each month") are more useful than ones naming a feature, because the job often has a better solution than the feature would have been.

The one thing we will turn down is anything requiring a server to see your file. Format conversions that need a real rendering engine, or anything that would mean uploading a document, sit outside what this site is. Keeping files on your device is the commitment the whole site is built around, so we would rather say no than weaken it.

Privacy and data questions

Questions about what the site collects, requests relating to data protection rights, or anything you would like clarified before trusting the tools with a document: same address. The short version is that we hold no files and no accounts, and the detail is on the privacy page, including how to verify the claim yourself rather than take our word for it.

Press, business and advertising

Also that address. Sleek PDF is free to use and funded by the ads in the margins, plus the occasional coffee from someone it saved a bad afternoon. We do not accept paid placements inside the tools, sponsored content dressed as guides, or links sold in the editorial pages.

If you would rather send encouragement than a question, the Ko-fi page is there. It covers the hosting bill. Nothing on the site is behind it.
